New York, New York

I’ve never met Jamie or Jacob before their wedding day but when she reached out to me about shooting their wedding at City Hall in New York City she said “I’ll be the girl in the red jumpsuit” and I said “I am in.” Jamie wanted to keep the day just as natural and special as it is without a ton of posed photos so that’s what we did and that’s what it was. I joined their family gathering for a small ceremony at City Hall followed by a walk along the Brooklyn Bridge and brunch and then met up with them later that evening for a celebration with friends and family. It was an intimate and awesome day starting from the moment I spotted them smiling and smooching as they waited in line with the rest of the folks ready to get married at City Hall that day to the late night speeches that led to skits and props and more toasts. If a stunning bride in red doesn’t brighten a drizzly and grey New York City morning I’m not sure what will. Thank you, Jamie and Jacob for including me on your oh so fitting Manhattan marriage!
