What better way to celebrate an engagement and summer love than hop in a decked out canoe with homegrown greenery and canoodle? Makes you think why we all aren’t following the footsteps/wake of these two, right?! We paddled through the lake, accompanied by music and family waiting dockside with beers and cheers. After the lake we headed down to the beach where we danced around a few friendly crabs and saw the last of the daylight. We will be seeing more of these two next August when they tie the knot, this was just the warm-up round. Not a bad warm-up round. As they say, couples who canoe together, stay together!
