David and Meade moved into the home my two sisters and I grew up in with no kids at the time and after finding out they were expecting twin girls following their firstborn girl, David called up my dad telling him there was no warning or contract agreement that this house only produced little girls bossing him around. I told him there is hope that one day the tides may turn with husbands and grandsons but for now, he is entirely outnumbered and the girl majority totally rules. It was a fun fall afternoon of running around the leafy yard with this lady pack hearing chatter of soccer practice, excited askings of hot chocolate after a brief first visit of snow (snow?!) and sister silliness that brought me right back to the roots of where I came from. After I sent David a few photos of him and his loving girls and said, “it could be worse right?” He said he agrees, girls are pretty awesome, but he is still sending my dad the wedding bills.
