Taryn
Gambier, Ohio
Taryn’s mom was my oh-so-esteemed Sociology professor at Kenyon College. She was the kind of professor that made you think, expected you to be concise and wanted her theory to be learned and not just regurgitated on command. When she called asking if I would be willing to come to Kenyon at peak foliage for a senior photo session of her daughter, Taryn, it took all of 15 minutes on Expedia to make it happen. It was one of those days on campus that looked and felt like you were walking through the brochure, with the trees ablaze and the air so inviting. The days where prospective parents are drooling and student body is actually modeling cheerful academia outside. Taryn is a senior at Mount Vernon High School looking to study pre-med and possibly play softball at her future college. We walked around the grounds she grew up in and talked about the joys/peeves of high school and the things she is looking forward to next year. Any college will be lucky to have this strong and promising lady. Happy to be brought back to one of the most beautiful places in the world (but really) to commemorate this celebratory end and uncharted beginning for Taryn!

Thanks so very much for coming back to Gambier for us, Taylor! Your time with us was so precious for many reasons. We love the wonderful pics of our grown up baby girl most especially because you took them. You do a wonderful job of capturing the essence of the moment, with all of the contextual clues needed to place your subject in just the right light in each and every photo.
It was my pleasure! Thank you so very much for having me out to beautiful Gambier! Till next time ; )
