Elissa + Paul

Paul kept this proposal tip top secret. He wanted to surprise his fiance-to-be on a beautiful spring day on the docks right outside their apartment. The weather swung back to winteresque behavior on this March afternoon, but that did not dampen the beauty of this day. I felt their love immediately, as they walked to the bench where Paul planned to propose hand-in-hand and smooching along the way. Paul quickly dropped to a knee after a few seated minutes and Elissa’s immediate response was to kiss, embrace and just keep kissing him. That was all before she was given the ring. Being the only ones braving the weather, we had the docks to ourselves as we took some time to capture their recent excitement. It was chilly and sweet. Big shout out to their friend, Emma, who helped coordinate the whole thing and was my wing-woman in planning. These two celebrated later with a trip into New York City to share the news with family. Let the adventure begin. Congrats, Elissa and Paul!
