Love is what I set out to capture. These two make it easy. No fluff or distractions that so often take away from the connection. I had the honor of witnessing Laurel bring Naomi Simone into this world last fall (Naomi’s Birth Story here) with unwavering patience and strength. Nothing has changed in how naturally they fit as a pair seven months later. Laurel has embodied the fullness of motherhood right from the very beginning of carrying Miss Nae and it has only become more beautiful with time. I’ve always loved Laurel in her head wraps and she often would wear her grandmother’s that she had since she was a baby. Before I went to work in Africa in 2010 she split it in two and gave me half to take with me with a note. We pulled out this special scarf when they visited a few weeks ago and let little Nae sport her style while we spent the morning together. At seven months, the demeanor of this little one already mirrors her sweet dad (hey Frankie!) with a side of sass from her mama. I look forward to continue watching you grow little lady!

Taylor, you have done it again. Absolutely beautiful photo’s of Laurel and Naomi. This little love bug truly has both Laurel and Frankie’s personality and they have stepped right into parenthood as we knew they would. Watching the both of them with her is amazing.
