Steven’s best buddy from Ireland told him that “this American girl he was after was way too good for him.” Steven’s response was simply, “yes, she is, and I am going to marry her.” And that he did. Everyone laughed at the sincerity and truth when the best man spoke of Steven’s love for Sara which was followed by experiencing it on display as he picked burrs out of her wedding dress, cared and kissed their sweet cheeked baby, Lucas, and addressed Sara’s parents with kind words of gratitude for how accepted and welcomed he felt from the start.
