It was the first snowfall of the season. The kind of snow that just keeps gracefully swirling down and you keep looking up and thinking, “please, please don’t stop.” Snow brings a quieter peace to everything, even in New York. It’s still bustling but the volume just seems a tad dimmed as flurries of softness coat everything around us relaxing our rigid and busy edges reminding us of our playfulness. I spent the afternoon with Jackie and Jimmy in their neighborhood on the Upper East Side. We pranced around the streets they know well, stopping by their favorite burger and beer joint and ended at Central Park. These two met in an ice cream shop years and years ago so something about shooting their engagement photos in a real life snow-globe felt fitting. And everything about it felt festive and fun. Congrats, guys!
