Kellyn + Zac
Chilmark, Martha’s Vineyard
Kellyn and Zac met in a movie store. Kellyn was looking to rent a Christmas movie and Zac was behind the counter. A lot of late fees later they went on their first date. The first time I met Kellyn and Zac we sat in a cafe staring at the pouring rain outside deciding if we should postpone their engagement session or go for it. They took a shot of whiskey and said “let’s do this” and we then we ran around the city soaked to the bone snapping photos and I knew we were in for a good ride. Their wedding weekend in Martha’s Vineyard was just as whimsical, starting with a dinner at their friend’s home where Kellyn had spent many childhood summers. The ceremony was filled with toasts, blessings and stories and a thick fog rolled in just as dusk fell. I remember walking away from the tent at the end of the night feeling like I was in some sort of hazy, dewy, wonderful dream. Congrats, Kellyn + Zac!
