Block Island, Rhode Island

I’ve never been to Block Island before but after this wedding I get the hype. It was a little calm oasis in the middle of the big blue. An island where people are scooting and strolling along. Where the waves are crashing and gardens are sprawled about. Kelsey + Ben were just as laid back as the island. Their day was a bluebird day with warm winds and sunshine rollin in at all sides. They got married on the lawn at the The Spring House, had cocktails on the porch and went inside for dinner and dancing. A favorite memory from this day was when the father of the bride got teary eyed not at the first look with his daughter/the bride, but with her bridesmaid, her childhood besties that he has known since tots and toddlers. I love that part of weddings. The trusty longevity of relationship that goes beyond the couple at the alter. Kelsey and Ben have it figured out, get your favorite friends and family on an island with few boats that leave. Well done, guys. You cracked the wedding code. And congrats!
