Nandi + Zack | Berkshire Wedding
Race Brook Lodge | Sheffield, Massachusetts
It was a warm and breezy summer day in the Berkshires. I pulled up to Race Brook Lodge and all of Nandi + Zack’s friends were just hanging out on the back lawn, playing games, having picnics, chasing kids around and I knew it was off to a good start. Zack got ready with his friends, including a hand made tie by his friend Jessie and Nandi got ready with her ladies — dawning her Grandma Nasha’s sari worn in 1942 in Nairobi that she turned into a veil. The little personal touches were everywhere throughout this day. Nandi + Zack got married under a huge tree, with colorful garlands, beautiful words, a shared beer and a race down the aisle and it was onto the party. And because these two met on tour as band mates which then turned to forever lifelong partner mates – they decided to scratch their first dance and play a first song together instead. Nandi on the piano and vocals and Zack on the drums and it was the very best. The rest of their talented crew rotated through the band the rest of the night and never have I ever seen the wedding guests ALSO sub in as the rotating live band and it was a ROCKIN live band. Groupie for life.
Congrats to you Nandi + Zack!
