The truth is, I never dreamt of scaling my business in a way that would require hiring employees. ABOUT AMY

She’s kind. She’s creative. And most importantly, she knows what she’s doing with a camera in hand. Amy has a BA in Photography and a minor in graphic design from The Savannah College of Art and Design and lives in New York City (a few blocks north of me!) with her husband. She has her own thriving photography business while also working with TLP, takes advantage of all the sunny sidewalk walks in Harlem and knows more words to Drake than you'd expect. FAQ's

How does hiring an associate work?

If I am unavailable or out of budget for your wedding and you show interest in Amy, I will connect you via email. Your contract, invoices and final gallery will be approved and sent by me but she does everything in between - client correspondence, wedding lead up communication, shooting, editing, dance floor dancing.

Do you have a similar shooting style?

Yes! Both of us aim to give you images that feel authentic and natural while you also feel authentic and natural having them taken. Amy is an experienced photographer and knows how to orchestrate groups, help ease the in-front-of-the-camera-tension, keep it light hearted and use her creativity to get those shots that look and feel like you.

What about editing?

Amy edits everything she shoots under my brand. She has been trained in my post processing style and her images are all edited with a similar aesthetic. Of course every wedding and event is unique but our goal is to be consistent in providing timeless and beautiful images.

Do you use the same equipment?

Yes! Amy and I have shot many weddings together and have swapped equipment in the past. We have a very similar equipment set-up including two camera bodies, multiple lenses and flashes. (For those interested in the specifics: Canon 5D Mark iii, Canon 6D and Canon L lenses and Speedlite flashes.)

Is Amy available for other shoots besides weddings?

Absolutely! Amy is available for engagement, couple, family, newborn, maternity and portrait sessions. See above for more info and rates.
